Project Controls Specialist

An experienced Project Controls Specialist is required to support the financial performance of major projects for Rio Tinto Brisbane office.

You’ll deliver cost control, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to drive informed project decisions.  

Key Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, cost baselines, and forecasts
• Perform cost reporting, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting
• Monitor project performance and cost risks
• Support change management and variations
• Handle POs, invoicing, and accruals
• Ensure accurate cost coding and financial compliance

About You

• 5+ years in Cost Control / Project Controls / Cost Engineering
• Experience in mining, construction, or infrastructure projects
• Strong Excel + SAP / Power BI skills
• Skilled in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
