Forklift Operator - PM

Chandler Macleod are seeking  a Forklift Operator  for our client at their Distribution Centre in Hazelmere. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a high reach forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role supports the day-to-day operations of receiving, storing, and shipping goods to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Shift Time:  2.00-10.00pm plus overtime and possible weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate high reach forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Pick, pack, and stage products accurately according to inventory or customer orders
• Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and containers
• Store products in designated locations within the racking system, ensuring optimal space usage
• Conduct daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations

• Valid forklift license
• Minimum 6 months of experience operating a counterbalance or high reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution centre
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
• Ability to lift up to 20kg and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be flexible with working hours, including potential overtime, evenings, or weekends
